Introduction to Chito-Ryu
karate-do for kids

The goal of the introduction program is to introduce karatekas
to Chito-Ryu karate-do and to transmit our passion for karate.
The classes focus on fun, discipline and respect. We hope
to make the children love karate and to prepare them for the
evaluation seminar for the yellow, orange and green belt levels.

As the children advance to the green belt level, they must learn the notions of courtesy, protocol and respect that are specific to the martial arts. They discover and polish their knowledge of kihon, kata and kumite.

Please note that children who wish to take part in the evaluation seminar must have a recommendation letter from one of their parents or from their school teacher.

In this program, learners are taught the importance of believing in oneself, developing a positive mental attitude, building self-confidence, and improving self-esteem. Our goal is to make them understand that success is within their reach and that it’s up to them to pursue it.

Karatekas can join our Competition Club and Team Cama and take part in regional and provincial tournaments.
