ESHG school sports program
Since 2002, Karaté Cama has been a proud partner
of the École secondaire Hormisdas-Gamelin’s school sports
program.
The training program is headed by Germain Bisson sensei,
Karaté Cama’s chief instructor, 5th dan, Renshi, NCCP Certified
3 and recipient of several regional and national Instructor of the
Year awards.
Training
The fun-filled training program develops the physical aspects of karate practice.
Aerobics, flexibility, muscular explosion and speed are some of the concepts covered in the classes.
Training is structured in a way that allows karatekas to improve their knowledge of kata and kumite.
Athletes who are interested in competitive karate can take part in the provincial Karaté Québec circuit.
Schedule
Students train twice a week at the Karaté Cama dojo. Transport between the dojo is provided by bus after lunch and back to school after class.
Academic performance
Some of our athletes have an academic grade score average of 80%
and above and still have exceptional performances on the Karaté
Québec provincial circuit.
