Karaté Cama’s development program comprises an
introduction to basic karate techniques that prepare
children between the ages of 5 and 8 to progress to
regular karate classes. The program complies with the
guidelines in the Long-Term Athlete Development initiative.
Each karate lesson is divided into the following components:
welcome, jogging, warm-up exercises, karate, games, themes
and stretching.
Our physical goals include skill development, balancing, flexibility,
spatial relationship, muscle building in children, and laterality.
Social goals focus on working alone, in teams of two or in a group,
sharing, respect for others, self-confidence and self-esteem.
The lessons are straightforward: although the child has fun while
learning, he or she is also a serious and disciplined learner.
Karaté Cama’s development classes are a logical continuation of
what the child learns at home and at school.
Through our martial arts classes and training that focuses on respect
and discipline, our goal is to build self-reliant people that can function
in society. Karaté Cama’s ultimate goal is to shape a peaceful, happy
and just society.
We hope we can meet your expectations, that your child will have a
lot of fun learning karate at Karaté Cama and that he or she will
continue to the introduction to karate program.
